Graduation is still a ways off, but plans are in place for the Dry After Grad party, as well as our Dinner/Dance (Tuesday, June 27) and the Valedictory Ceremony on Friday, June 9th at the South Delta Baptist Church in Tsawassen. In order to help us prepare for this very important event, we need some information from our Graduates. Please go to the following link and tell us if you intend to attend the ceremony, what size of gown you will need and complete the write-up of what is read when you cross the stage (there are some instructions and examples on the link). We need this information no later than March 10th.
We have already taken Grad composite photos, but if you have missed yours, you will need to go to the Artona Studios and have your sitting. In order to book and appointment, please use the link below:
Graduation is a very important time in the life of students, and we encourage all of our students to participate in the social events that come with being in Grade 12. Students just had an assembly to get adjusted TVRs (Transcript Verification Reports), so please check to ensure their courses and marks are correct. Once you are hapy with what you have seen, please sign and return your TVR to your Counsellor. (Please see attached for further information.)
It is also the time to start thinking about Scholarships. In order for any student sto be considered for a scholarship, they must have applied. All Grade 12 students should apply, because scholarships are not selected based solely on marks. In order to apply, you must fill out the information on the link below:
Lastly, please be sure to check the lists posted outside the Study Centre to see if you have paid for events like the Valedictory ($50), Dinner/Dance ($120), Dry After Grad ($75) and Yearbook ($40). If you want to participate in these events, you need to ensure you have paid. If you have not yet paid, please see the Business Assistant (Mrs. Yee) ASAP.
