Parent Permission Form Due November 1, 2024

We are excited to inform you that our school will be participating in Take Our Kids to Work Day 2024 on November 6, celebrating its 30th anniversary. Presented by the Students Commission of Canada and RBC Future Launch, this event provides Grade 9 students with the opportunity to explore various career paths and gain insights into the working world.

Theme: "Breaking Barriers, Transforming Communities"

This year's theme focuses on overcoming barriers to career exploration and fostering inclusivity. We aim to ensure that every student, regardless of background, has the opportunity to envision themselves in diverse careers and feel engaged to shape their future.

We encourage you to support your child’s participation in this valuable event. If possible, arrange for them to visit your workplace or another suitable location.

Next Steps:

• Complete the Attached Permission Form: Please fill out and return the attached permission form by November 1, 2024.
• Workplace Arrangements: If your child will be visiting a workplace, ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for a safe and informative visit.
