Reminder:  Valedictory Speakers  Self Nomination form opens on May 26 and closes May 30

If graduating grade 12 students are interested in being a valedictory Speaker at UBC’s Chan Centre on June 23 please have them complete the Self Nomination form.

The Valedictory Speakers (McNair Staff Selection Committee will make the final decision on Valedictory Speakers)

NEW!!! Valedictory Grad Speaker Nomination Form

The Valedictory Grad Speaker is new  this year.  The Valedictory Grad Speaker will be selected by grade 12 students. 

Grade 12 students (Graduates) can nominate themselves or one of their classmates for Grad Speaker (only one nomination per student – Only grade 12 students can nominate and vote May 26 to May 30).  

The top three students with most nominations will participate in a Valedictory Grad Speaker Election. 

The nominee with the most votes will be the Valedictory Grad Speaker and will speak on behave of the grad class at UBC’s Chan Centre on June 23, 2025. 

A staff committee will review all nominations to ensure candidates for Grad Speaker meet the requirements (good academic standing, good conduct, good citizenship, and has made significant contributions to the school).
