Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

Hope

Dear McNair Students, Parents, Families, and Community Members,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

As we begin another exciting year at McNair Secondary, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our students, families, and community members. A new school year brings fresh opportunities, new experiences, and the promise of growth as we continue to learn and achieve together.

Our theme for this year is Hope.

Hope is more than a feeling. It is the belief that positive outcomes are possible and that the actions we take today help create a brighter tomorrow. Hope inspires us to embrace challenges, celebrate successes, and remain focused on our goals, even when the path forward is not always easy.

Hope grows through confidence: confidence in ourselves, confidence in one another, and confidence in the strength of our school community. Every day, students build confidence through learning, perseverance, and achievement. Families, staff, and community members play an important role in nurturing that confidence, encouraging students to believe in their abilities and their potential.

At McNair, we are fortunate to be part of a caring and supportive community that values learning, inclusion, and belonging. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels welcomed, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

As we embark on this new school year, let us be guided by hope. Let us approach each day with optimism, kindness, and a commitment to supporting one another. By working together, we can ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed and to look toward the future with confidence and hope.

Thank you for being an important part of the McNair community. I look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and meaningful connections.

Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the 2026-2027 school year.
