At McNair, our theme this year has been to encourage students to "Find Your Greatness". We have shared the video embedded below with our staff and students in order to help them learn to push themselves and achieve their goals and dreams. For many of our students, the messaging was inspiring and has led to them taking more chances and pushing themselves beyond normal limits. As a staff, we have watched the videos and had conversations about how we can encourage our students to exert maximal effort in all that they do. Several of our students have long put forth the types of effort required for excellence in our elective areas, and we are trying to expand upon those efforts to see some improved results in our core Academic areas. Staff have been asked to role-model trying new things and taking steps out of their "comfort zones" in order to improve their practice. The results have been exciting and inspiring for our students and we are now seeing student achievement start to flourish as students push themselves to be Great.
