McNair's Student First Responders invited Superintendent Usih and Trustee Tablotney to discuss funding for this program in high schools. Our students shared how they hoped this important service to students could be developed in the District.

In June, three of the student leaders presented at the School Board meeting to share the value of the First Responders in schools. These students also shared the desire for district funding to support the certification of students who wish to complete training. Our students also presented their belief that naloxone kits and AEDs are needed in schools; a motion was passed.
